Square Enix recently posted a video message from the creator of the Dragon Quest franchise Yuji Horii (堀井 雄二) where he talks about how the franchise was born and his thoughts on the game design that’s made the franchise so popular.
Horii currently heads his own production company, Armor Project, a company that has an exclusive production contract with Square Enix.
I didn't know Horii wasn't part of SQEX anymore. It's strange and a little sad that the creators of FF and DQ are no longer parts of this company.
