The official Final Fantasy XII site has been updated, this time they have added a subsection to the "About Ivalice" section named "Those who live in Ivalice". The new section features information and concept art of the Hume and Viera race, the section will also have information regarding Moogles, Bangaas and Seegs.

Humans known as humes in Final Fantasy XII is the largest race in Ivalice, over 40% of all the inhabitants are humes. The Seegs looks similar to the Bangaas but they have shorter noses and larger eyes and pointy ears.
