September has been a crazy busy month for Square Enix. From PAX, to GameStop Expo, to TGS and now EGX, the company has been giddily showing off its blockbuster lineup to crowds across the world. The upcoming HD remaster of FINAL FANTASY XII: THE ZODIAC AGE was livestreamed at EGX, courtesy of PlayStation Access this weekend and the result is truly something special. The segment covers the player’s first visit to the Skycity of Bhujerba and not only is the game gorgeous but the audio is amazing too—the city’s musical theme has been remastered with a lovely string addition. God, I am such a nerd. Watch and listen for yourself below.
FINAL FANTASY XII: THE ZODIAC AGE will release on Sony’s PS4 in 2017.

I feel like Final Fantasy XV is that person you're dating right know who's late to everything and Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Age is that former flame who's gone out into the world, gotten a job, and is too mature to disrespect your time like that.
The years I spent covering this game here, some 10-12 yrs ago now, were all worth it. This HD ver. is maybe the thing I'm looking forward to most in all of gaming.
Haha those were years well spent. Can you remember back when XII's 6 year development was a scandal? -_-
Looking forward to playing this again on the Switch.
