As we close upon the 1-month marker until the release of Final Fantasy XII, a sixth voice actor has been announced within the titanic stylings of Final Fantasy XII. Joining Bobby Edner (Vaan), Kari Wahlgren (Ashe), Gideon Emery (Balthier) Steven Jay Blum (Ba'Gamnan) and Tara Strong (Penelo) will be April Stewart, best known for her work in the Final Fantasy universe as Dr. Lucrecia Crescent in Dirge of Cerberus. At this time, neither Square Enix nor Stewart have commented on her exact role (my money's on Fran) in the game. Stewart is also well known for her voice acting as a plethora of characters in the animated comedy television series "South Park."

April Stewart, voicing Dr. Crescent, costarred with Steven Jay Blum, voicing Vincent, in Dirge of Cerberus. Tara Strong joins them as the only other cast member to have worked on a Final Fantasy project before (Final Fantasies X and X-2).

In related news, Square Enix has confimed that the translation and localization of Final Fantasy XII has been completed.

Final Fantasy XII is scheduled for release in North America on October 31st, 2006.
