More details have emerged from a recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura about Final Fantasy Versus XIII and his plans for life after the game’s completion, says Gemaga. Nomura spoke of combat details for Versus, saying that it will incorporate elements found in previous action-oriented titles like Dirge of Cerberus and the Kingdom Hearts games.

Apparently, the player’s point of view will change based on what weapon is equipped, or what actions are being performed. Heading up the combat system for Versus is Toshiro Tsuchida (Final Fantasy X, Front Mission series), who will be in charge of realizing Nomura’s action-packed vision.

On an end note, Nomura finished by saying that working on two games at once is difficult. To this end, he said, when Versus has wrapped up, he will focus on his other Square Enix baby, the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
