The confirmed name for the 3rd main character in Final Fantasy X-2 is Paine. She is a member of Rikku's sphere hunter team. Paine is a cold and reserved person, never revealing her feelings to others and is cruel in her ways.
Details about the new Active Time Battle system have also been revealed. Each action will consume different amounts of the ATB gauge. [Eg. Defending will use up 1/3 of the gauge, and using an item will consume 1/2 of it.]
The dress sphere can be used during battles to change the job class and costume of the character. A short transformation sequence will take place when the sphere is utilized.
