Looking forward to Final Fantasy Versus XIII? Well the good news is that development on Final Fantasy XIII is doing wonders for that other Fabula Nova Crystallis entry, according to the developer.
Square Enix's Yoshinori Kitase told Kotaku at last weeks Gamescom that development time on Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be "comparatively faster" than that of Final Fantasy XIII. He also said that the time it takes to model characters and enemies in FFXIII is now taking about one-third the time it did at the beginning of the project.
There is still no known release date but we'll probably see the game in stores sometime in 2011.

There was some speculation that FINAL FANTASY XV’s delay from September to November may have been related to Sony’s as-of-then-unannounced hardware, the PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim. While the additional development time has yielded significant improvements to FINAL FANTASY XV, the whole situation is still a bit suspicious. Sony and Square Enix have announced a Limited Deluxe Edition Final Fantasy...
and since it is a ps3 exclusive, and from what I know, more of a traditional jrpg, i think this entry will be much more liked amongst the fans... but thats just imo... i dont wanna speak for others. plus better graphics!... there's always an enhancement in that department on games released at later dates :P
Why would being on only one system make it more liked? >_>
I think it would be more liked because of the fact that it is more of a jrpg (and because we can see that the main series has headed off on another direction from being traditional turn based to more action oriented). Not saying I don't like the new ones or that this one will be the greatest ff ever, but im saying that going back to simpler roots might be something fans will enjoy with these new graphical updates
Versus is going to be an action RPG in the vein of Kingdom Hearts meets Dirge of Cerberus whereas XIII is going to have a modified turn-based system. I think you have the games mixed up.
ahh.. see someone debunked my theory. lol as i stated above... it was from what I knew, and what I knew was wrong lol.. i read somewhere it was gonna be more turn based, but i see i am wrong... -1 for me =)
Well, it will have some traditional RPG elements, like a World Map and EXP systems. But from all I've seen and heard the battle system is like a hyper Crisis Core engine.
and that to me would be awesome, cause i loved crisis core's battle system =)
