It's no big secret that Final Fantasy XIV has had one of the strangest rides in gaming. FFXIV 1.0 was a disaster, but from it's ashes rose the wonderful Version 2.0, A Realm Reborn, which has been a rousing success for SquareEnix.
On December 17th, FFXIV will see it's first major content update in Patch 2.1, dubbed A Realm Awoken, which will introduce elements such as the PVP Arena "The Wolves Den" and the 24 player instance "The Crystal Tower".
So, what's your excuse for not playing now?

The next big content update to Final Fantasy XIV is coming to Eorzea on February 23, 2016. Patch 3.2, “The Gears of Change” will bring plot advancements and the all new Antitower dungeon.
