Famitsu released some information about Final Fantasy X-2's dress sphere system. It looks like there will be a pyramid of nodes on a golden plate. Some of these nodes will be dented while other will not be. There must be a certain way of denting the others. But anyway, a dress sphere can be placed in each dent of the pyramid. The links that form between the spheres result in you having a dress change.
It is being assumed that if you change the sphere positions, it will result in you having a different dress change but this is not yet confirmed.
