Square has introduced a small site for Final Fantasy X-2 which will be purely based on news. The site mentioned that the game was to be sold at 7:00 am in Tokyo at a store named Shibuya Tsutaya. It has been said that Koda Kumi will be there, most probably performing the two main theme songs of the game for the crowd.
On another note, ads for the game have been placed on many radio stations. It is also known that the voice actors for the three heroines in the game will come on a show by the name of 'Tokyo Character Show Radio'. Each of the interviews will take place from 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm. On March 10, Matsumoto Marika (Rikku) was interviewed, today on March 11, Aoki Mayuko (Yuna) will be interviewed and finally on March 13, Toyoguchi Megumi (Paine) will be interviewed.
The site also mentions the release of three guide books on March 13, 2003. The first guide is titled "Final Fantasy X-2 Easy Find" by Shueisha. The second guide is the official Final Fantasy X-2 GuideBook by EnterBrain and finally there is also a GuideBook being made by DigiCube.
The two commercials that were released on the net a week or two back are still running in Japan and will continue until March 13, 2003. From then onwards, ads will be placed on the radio for another week and then finally the advertising will come to an end.
There is also a poster that has been placed around for the game. Here is a link to it:
There has definitely been a lot of advertising for FFX-2, and hopefully it will all be worth it. For more quality FFX-2 news, stay with SquareInsider.com.
