In a recent interview with Weekly Famitsu, Square Enix's Akitoshi Kawazu and Yoshinori Kitase discussed the English version of Final Fantasy X-2 as well as Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Asked about the chances of bringing the latter to PlayStation 2, Kawazu said it would be difficult due to the obvious lack of the GameCube's Gameboy Advance link-up feature.
Regarding the translations of various terms used in Final Fantasy X-2, Kitase said the infamous Yu-Ri-Pa would be changed to YRP and the Kamone Group will be referred to as Galwing in the English version. Other aspects which are being changed are a particular event, as well as Aniki's appearance and motions. Just like in previous interviews, Kitase again ruled out a possible sequel to Final Fantasy X-2.
