Final Fantasy X-2 Goes International

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy X-2 International and Last Mission for PlayStation 2. Apart from the standard International version treatment a la Final Fantasy X International and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, this new title will feature some entirely new elements: If there is no clear save data of X-2 available, players can only collect items in a bonus dungeon, the Tower of Yadonoki. A clear save data however will allow players to experience the story behind the tower as well. The story of this last dungeon will take place three months after Final Fantasy X-2's events, and Yuna, Rikku and Paine will go on their last joint adventure. The tower is a massive and complex ancient ruin, and the rewards for managing to reach its peak will hence be worth the labor of conquering it. Furthermore, one additional dress is now available to players. Final Fantasy X-2 International and Last Mission will be available in Japan sometime this winter.
