Through magazine scans, Square Enix has revealed both a new boss and the 2nd new dress sphere for Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission. The new boss is said to be the toughest of the entire game and will require a whole lot of skill to defeat. No mention has been made of the boss' name, however, it is still rumoured to be Emerald as stated by theMagicBox.com. In the image below, one can see how the boss wears a mask similar to that of Shinra (character from FFX-2). The only way to take on this hard new boss is by getting a 100% in the Creature Create system.

In regards to the new dress sphere, it was chosen by fans who took part in a Dress Contest which was featured in FFX-2's Ultimania guide in Japan. The new dress sphere will be called Omatsuri (spelling not confirmed) and will deal with the notion of celebration.
Speaking of guides, Square Enix has confirmed that Bent Stuff will be publishing their upcoming strategy books and taking over some of the responsibilities once held by DigiCube (now bankrupt). In addition, it was revealed that FFX-2 Ultimania Omega will be released on February 13, 2004 for 1,900 JPY. It will consist of over 668 coloured pages and contain interviews with the developers of the game.
On a final note, there have been some revealtions into the changes that will appear in the European version of Final Fantasy X-2. The dress sphere, Songstress, will be called "Diva" and Garment Grids will be called "Costume Pallets". Final Fantasy X-2 will hit European stores on February 20, 2004.
