As expected, Final Fantasy XII remained atop the Japanese sales charts for the second straight week. The title sold about 266,000 copies to bring its total to 2.08 million copies since the March 16th release. Thereby the game has enjoyed more success than Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 during the first ten days following its release.
Apart from Final Fantasy XII, no RPG managed to break into the top 10 this week. Sting's Yggdra Union entered the charts at 13, followed by Kid's newest love adventure offering Memories Off: Sore kara again at 14. Square Enix's Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana and Valkyrie Profile Lenneth both lost ground, dropping to spots 18 and 32, respectively. Other RPGs on the charts include Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon (at spot 34), Mario & Luigi RPG 2 (at 35), Wizardry XTH 2: Unlimited Student (at 40) and Konami's Suikoden V (at 42).
