FFXV and KH3 will not be featured at this years E3 conference

Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts producer Shinji Hashimoto was recently interviewed by Famitsu. He revealed that Square Enix has no plans of announcing any new details regarding Final Fantasy XV or Kingdom Hearts III at this years E3 conference.

Hashimoto claims that development for Final Fantasy XV is going well. And that they'll try to determine the best timing for revealing new information to fans.

They are also supposedly hard at work on Kingdom Hearts III but they need more time before then can show it off to the public.

So the big question is: What will Square Enix bring to E3? My guess is a Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HR ReMIX trailer and a few shitty free to play mobile games.

I misread the title in my RSS reader and got all excited. I can't believe that they won't be showing anything from their two most anticipated titles. They better have something cool up their sleeve (like a HD remake of FFVII or Chrono Trigger) but I doubt it.

Square Enix France hinted on Twitter at a possible Type-0 or Agito announcement at E3. I hope they make Type-0 either a Vita or PSN PS4 release. Otherwise, I was stoked to see a release date for KH2.5 and maybe we'll get an announcement of FFXIV's first expansion?

Would be awesome if they announced another PS4 title but I kinda doubt that they have the manpower to work on more than 2 AAA titles at a time. FFXV and KHIII development isn't exactly going fast.

I do however have hopes for a Tomb Raider announcement by Crystal Dynamics.

That was disappointing. I had really looked forward to seeing some XV gameplay.

@Brendan - We're definitely getting some details of Patch 2.3 and two new classes (Ninja & Gunner) for FFXIV. Expansion maybe.

As for FFXV and KH3...can't say.

It’s been nearly 15 years since the release of Kingdom Hearts II, on Sony’s PlayStation 2, back in December 2005. And while there have been a myriad of oddly playing, obscurely-titled off-shoots in between, they never quite scratched the fandom’s itch. It’s been nearly two years since we’ve posted a story here, for the release of another of Square’s long...
