Square Enix revealed that they have been working on a yet another Dragon Quest spin-off title during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference. The game is called Dragon Quest Heroes and it appears to be a hack and slash, Dynasty Warriors-style action role-playing game. This doesn't come as a huge surprise as it is developed in collaboration with Koei Tecmo and Omega Force.

Sony announced that they will be releasing a pretty awesome looking limited edition Dragon Quest Heroes version of the PlayStation 4 along with the game in 2015.

I guess Square Enix wanted their own Hyrule Warriors :p I bet this is gonna sell a bunch of consoles in Japan.

I was going to mention Hyrule Warriors as well, but then they kind of beat Nintendo there with Dissidia? I'm wondering where the next Dissidia game is. The Vita is doing well, if not stellar, in the U.S. and I'd buy one if they cranked out another Dissidia game for it.

Never been a huge fan of the Dynasty Warriors games but I might pick this one up. I just hope that they'll release it outside of Japan.

It's the first DQ title on PlayStation in over a decade, and Sony closed their show with it last night. Would be very surprised if it doesn't make it out of Japan.

I'll probably be picking it up but how awesome wouldn't it be with a Final Fantasy themed Dynasty Warriors game?
