Final Fantasy XV's onward march towards release continues and in the wake of its surprise appearance at TGS in October, fans were treated to a sneak peek at the game's world map. In November, Square Enix released a tech demo of the development process behind Final Fantasy XV and, at about 35 seconds into the video, there's a portion called "Terrain Editor" that seemingly displays a massive portion—if not the entirety of—the world map that will be traversable (at least, in part, by car) in Final Fantasy XV.
It remains to be seen if the map is the whole thing or only a piece, but Dualshockers has an amazingly in-depth examination of the brief glance fans got at the map, to formulate a best guess. Of course, the development team also wants you to see the work that goes into hair, weather, and AI, but let's be real—Final Fantasy fans have hankered for a proper world map since since Final Fantasy IX, and XV might finally deliver.

this game is going to be a master piece.
Assuming that we get the demo at the same time that Type-0 HD releases, we don't have long to wait to see how good or bad XV is.
