It's been a long time. You've waited for this since E3 2005 and the PS3 Tech Demo. Wondered for years if it was going to happen. Felt a little ticked off last year when they announced the PC version was coming to PS4. But this year...this year's just a little bit different. With it's story written by Kazushige Nojima and directed by Tetsuya Nomura, enjoy the announcement trailer of the HD Remake of Final Fantasy VII, coming first to PlayStation 4.

OMG Yes!!! I just hope that they keep the ATB battle system.

The Sony press conference was epic! Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last Guardian and Shenmue III :D

Best decision ever made! :D Can't wait. Although, I think changes will have to happen, they might change the battle system to something more action oriented like that of FF XV and FF XII. I don't mind as long they keep it as faithful as possible to the original regarding the mako system.

Now that we're all over the initial hype, we should start preparing for a 2017 release to celebrate FFVII's 20th anniversary. Don't expect to see more of this game for a while :p

Didn't they say that they would be back with more info this winter? But yeah a 2017 release sounds reasonable.
