Final Fantasy XV will Have DLC, Possible PC Version

Another day, another rush of Final Fantasy XV news. After a successful media barrage this last week Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata continues to delight fans with news on the much anticipated title. Tabata provided an outline of Final Fantasy XV's DLC plans, projecting summer as when gamers can expect to know more about the content. He provided little else in terms of actual details except to say the dev team wants to "create enthusiasm among the players."

We also got a few additional details on the game's mechanics. There will be fewer rendered cutscenes compared to previous entries. The team wants to let the in-game engine speak for itself. This seems wise, considering the cinematic quality of the game's engine as it is. As for the Regalia flying, it will need to be upgraded over time and then players will need to only push a button to take flight. Tabata also speculated on the possibility of a PC version of Final Fantasy XV, commenting that one could only happen post-console release and that it would have to prioritize technical accomplishments and performance so that it could offer something new.
