Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift has launched in North America today! The spiritual successor to the original PlayStation hit and the subsequent GameBoy Advance title is on store shelves now. With upwards of 50 job classes, 300 quests, and classic Tactics character crossovers, Tactics A2 has received favorable reviews from IGN (9), GamePro (4/5), and GameSpy (9).

Square Enix has revealed the boxart of the North American version of Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. The game will hit North American shelves on June the 24th. Check out the boxart below:

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift will release in North America on June 24, 2008 for the Nintendo DS. Tactics A2 takes place in FFXII's Ivalice with a whole list of new features, characters, and engrossing battle system. The Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: The Grimoire of the Sealed Hole release date has just been announced by Square Enix. The title with the long name will hit the Japanese shelves on October 25th 2007. The European and North American release dates have not been announced yet but we'll probably have expect a 2008 release.

A new website for Final Fantasy Tactics A2 has opened, giving viewers a good look at the game's logo and main characters, Luso and Adel. The site opened earlier today, and features a redone version of Hitoshi Sakimoto’s track “Companions That Surpassed Their Tribe.” To view the website, click here.
