Another Square Enix game is getting a European release date this week. This time its Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors. The Nintendo Wii game will hit European shelves on the 9th of May. Check out the official European website here: www.dragonquestswords.eu.com

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and The Tower of Mirrors will release to North American Nintendo Wii consoles on February 26, 2008. If I'm not mistaken, this will be Square's first real venture on the Wii, but don't quote me, because I'm an idiot. We get all sorts of new bonuses, play modes, and boss fights too.

A new Dragon Quest Swords video has hit the airwaves, and this one shows off the Wiimote, if nothing else. The player demonstrates classic RPG elements like conversing with NPCs and slashing away at all sorts of Dragon Quest enemies, slimes included. Check it out here.

Square Enix announced yesterday that their first Nintendo Wii title, Dragon Quest Sword: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors will hit the shelves in Japan on July 12th. The Genius Sonority-developed titled will carry a price tag of 6,800 yen ($57.05 US).

Now available online is a new trailer for Dragon Quest Swords, at the game's official Japanese site. A majority of the trailer is what was showcased at Jump Festa and subsequently captured by a cell-phone. Genius Sonority recently announced that they are developing Dragon Quest Sword: Kamen no Joou to Kagami no Tou for Square Enix.
