Square Enix has licensed the Gamebryo game engine which has powered games such as Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Warhammer Online. They have not yet announced what they are going to use it for but the engine (v2.6+) supports the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Windows (DirectX 9 and 10) so it could be pretty much anything.

The North American Square Enix website has been updated with a nice layout to match the Japanese website. It only took them 7 months and 4 days to do it! Square Enix has announced that they are working on a iPhone game named Crystal Defenders. It looks a lot like the cellphone game they released in January called Crystal Guardians and the goal of the game will probably be to defend a crystal from monsters (like in Crystal Guardians).
